CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S FUNDRAISER
ANNOUNCES ART CONTEST WINNERS

Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce's fifth benefit for education in Williamson County, the STAR Gala, proudly
announces the winners of its 2006 art contest. The winners were selected from more than 70 entries to a Visual Art
Contest for all Williamson County students in grades 9-12 that was held this fall.

All pieces will hang in Cool Springs Galleria Mall from January 8-16th. The best of show piece will also be an auction item
the night of the Gala, January 20th.

The art contest, part of the Gala's Education committee, was chaired by Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber member and
artist Gail Mcdaniel, and her husband Ken McDaniel, co-chaired it. The school Liaisons were Carol Lea-Mord of
Battleground Academy and Heather Thorsby of Independence High School.


Congratulations to:

Best of Show Award winner: Lauren Goodwin, grade 12, Ravenwood High School, for her piece, 'Change in
Perspective'. Art teacher: Bradley LeDuc.

First Place Award winner: Sarah Witham, grade 12, Ravenwood High School, for her piece, 'Speed of Light'.
Art teacher is also Bradley LeDuc.

Second Place was awarded to Caroline Davis, grade 12, of Battle Ground Academy, for her piece, 'Starry Night'. Art
teacher is Carol Lea-Mord.
