Olga Alexeeva
Artist

"My work, says Olga, is not just a reflection of what I see and feel, but what I imagine as well. I'd love to bring my audience a source of satisfaction and pleasure through a combination of realistic and abstract paintings, where elements coexist with fantasy. For me-all surroundings have a soul: happy or unhappy.  All that we touch reflect our emotions. I invite the viewer to a Wonderland, where everything is possible and rightful.”

joyce darden
Painter

Joyce was born and raised in Maine, then moved to Nashville in the 1960's and resided there for approximately 40 years working as a legal secretary.  After retiring, and in order to get away from the fast lane, she moved to Hohenwald where she has been residing since 2000.  Having always loved art (in any form), she began painting classes sometime in '01/'02.  Her teacher stopped giving classes but she continued on my own through this world full of color and form.  She has since restarted giving lessons and I attend weekly.

Painting is a way for my spirit to be free while my brush forms images in color which never ceases to amaze me.

Sam Simms
Artist/Instructor/Owner, Stained Glass Accessories

By combining the use of a glass cutting band saw and the copper foil technique, the method most commonly used for smaller works, Sam has taken the art of stained glass to a new and exciting plateau.

Evoking such words as, unique, original, creative and yes, even "funky". Sam's mirrors, picture frames and jewelry, are from initial conception to completion, one of a kind, handcrafted, functional works of art.

Sam's work has been displayed in galleries throughout the United States, including Hawaii, her creations can even be found adorning walls in Europe. Originally from Amityville, New York, Sam moved to Tennessee in the early seventies. She studied Commercial Art at Watkins and has been working with stained glass since 1987.

Norb Skalski
Artist

Norb's work is driven by the core of human existence, emotion, and it's external presence. He's sees himself as a social critic who has developed expressionistic style in the context of Van Gogh, Picasso, as well as such abstract expressionists as Nolde, Kirschner and Munch.

Primarily interested in figurative art composition, he has always avoided easy moralistic judgements, preferring to explore primal human characteristics that become apparent to the viewer only after he or she has spent ample time considering them.

Twisted Sisters ~ Linda Carol / Debbie Graham
WOW Sculptures

It was "sisters" before it was "Twisted Sisters"- the Hobdy sisters that is, but we are better known as Linda Carol and Debbie Graham.  Linda has a background in fashion and interior design and Debbie has worked in woodworking and marketing. The two worlds of talents converged in the spring of 1997 as we made our first original lamp.

We use metals, wood, glass and found treasures to create our unique and whimsical pieces, borrowing from the past to proceed into the future. Looking at each item in a new light motivates our creativity and allows us to be totally free in adapting any idea into a functioning piece of art.
